CtK Small Groups

“Where two or three gather in my name, there I am among them”- Jesus (Matthew 18:20)

Why Small Groups Matter

For us, small groups aren’t just a program—they’re one of the primary ways we grow in Christ.

Discipleship is personal, but it was never meant to be private. Small groups provide space for deep friendship, honest conversation, and steady spiritual growth. They help us follow Jesus together.

What Do We Mean by “Small Group”?

The term “small group” means different things in different churches.

At CtK, a small group usually includes 6 to 10 people who commit to meet at least every other week during our seasonal cycles. Each group is led by a trained facilitator who helps create space for growth and connection.

What to Expect in a Group

Each gathering centers on reading and reflecting on Scripture (or a devotional book) and praying deeply for one another. Over time, trust grows—and so does the freedom to be open about what’s really going on.

These groups are shaped by the truth that we all struggle with sin and brokenness (1 John 1:8), but we are also being renewed by grace and the work of the Spirit (1 John 3).

In short, small groups are a place to be known, encouraged, and transformed.
