Helping Hands
> Offers compassionate care to those in need, including food items through our Food Pantry, utility support for those in crisis, and free dental assistance for the uninsured through our Dr. Edward Benton DuBose Dental Clinic to our neighbors in need.
> Also offered are employment skills training, avenues for career discovery, and positive youth development, which significantly impacts individuals, families, and our communities as a whole

> Runs a daily meals program
> Offers a range of services including job training, career guidance, long-term housing assistance, and literacy programming, among others

Carolina Human Reinvestment
> Offers mentorship and reading programs for children, with much activity centering in the CHR community garden in Pawley’s Island, which helps provide locally grown, fresh food to the food deserts in Georgetown County
> Children’s programs encompass after -school activities as well as summer camps

Habitat for Humanity Georgetown County
> Christian-based organization that builds decent and affordable homes for low-income working families who can purchase homes with affordable, no profit mortgages and sweat equity
> Offers home repair services to homeowners so they can continue to live in safe, decent homes for years to come, including painting, weatherization and minor repair services to preserve home exteriors and revitalize neighborhoods

If you’re without insurance and need healthcare support, drop by the Smith Clinic in Pawleys Island. They can help. Christ the King has members who volunteer in this clinic.
The clinic is located at 99 Baskerville Drive, Pawleys Island.
Need a meal and short on money?
If you’re hungry and in need of a ready-to-eat meal, you can find one at the following locations on the following days. Many of these meals are provided by the Matthew 25 Initiative, which Christ the King supports.
Pawleys Island Presbyterian Church - Mondays and Tuesdays from 11:30am till 1pm
Baskerville Food Bank - Supper available for pick up on Mondays at 5:30pm
251 Willbrooke Blvd / Next Door Quigley’s - Supper available for pick up on Tuesdays from 5 till 7pm
Precious Blood Catholic Church - Lunch available on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12 till 1pm
All Saints Anglican Church - Lunch available on Fridays from 11:30am till 1pm
St Peter’s Lutheran Church - Supper available on Sundays for pickup between 5 and 6:30pm.
Ready to get sober?
Pawleys Island has a chapter of Alcoholics Anonymous.
Meetings are held in the St. John’s Chapel at the All Saints Anglican campus. The chapel is the far left building if you are looking at the property from Kings River Rd. It is the small white structure towards the back left of the property.
Meets are held on Mondays and Wednesdays at 8pm.
Tired of being stuck in a pornography addiction?
You can get support through Porn Addicts Anonymous (PAA), which hosts weekly Zoom groups.
