New Members Class

What Does It Mean to Be a Member?

Membership at Christ the King is a commitment made before God and one another. Members pray for the church and its mission, and support its life and ministries with their time, treasure, and talents.

It’s both a privilege and a responsibility.

We encourage those who worship regularly at CtK and have come to love this community to consider becoming members.

How It Works

Before joining, each prospective member takes part in our new-members class, which is held every year. There is some teaching on what it means to join the CtK family and an opportunity to ask questions and walk through our membership covenant.

If a member eventually moves away, the Rector is glad to provide a letter of reference for their next church.

2025 New Members Class

For 2025, our new-members class (which includes lunch after church over several Sundays) will be offered in the late summer or early fall. Once the course is scheduled, we’ll invite all prospective members to attend as part of the membership process.
