Giving
Giving to the church is a reflection of our changed hearts. When we experience the transforming love of Christ, our perspective shifts from selfishness to selflessness. And so we give not out of obligation, but out of gratitude for all that God has done for us. Our giving becomes an act of worship, a way to invest in the kingdom of God and support the work of spreading the Gospel. The Apostle Paul calls this glad giving and reminds us that God loves a cheerful giver (2 Corinthians 9:7).
At Christ the King, our ministries are entirely supported by the tithing and generosity of those in our church community. Our prayer is two-fold. First, we pray that everyone who calls CtK home would contribute of their treasure, time, and talent towards the work of the Gospel in this place. Second, we pray that our giving would be sacrificial, just as Jesus’ giving of himself for us was sacrificial (2 Corinthians 8:9).
Whether you choose to give online through our secure website or prefer traditional methods such as envelopes during services, your contributions make a meaningful difference in the lives of our parishioners and the community. Please know that as a church we take good stewardship very seriously and maintain a careful and disciplined budget using your gifts. Our books are audited every year and once again for 2024 we received a strong audit.
